A group of 15 drawings which make one piece, this work was done while the artist was at the MacNamara Foundation Winter 2008 Residency in Maine.  The imagery was inspired by seed heads dispersing on the wind in the high mountain valleys of Colorado.

This is a series of nine drawings in sepia ink, on paper prepared with sepia ink washes and thinned acrylic paint. This work began as a combination of responses, first to a happy accident when attempting another work, and second, while thinking about medical drawings of the heart.
